One day on November 15, 2013, the PlayStation 4 was released, bringing with it the wireless DualShock controllers, which was a massive advancement in the gaming industry, there were flocks of people going crazy for a PlayStation 4, and the games that came along with it were something else, which was revolutionary in terms of gaming wise and graphics. The first few months of when the PlayStation 4 was released, it kept going out of stock on and on. Sony kept trying to supply the monstrous demand, but day by day, the demand increased more, which led to a massive hit in the PlayStation 4. In a few years came the PSVR, which was again revolutionary in the console industry. The PSVR in full form is Playstation Virtual reality. Technically the PSVR has motion-sensing technology and allows you to play with only just the gestures and movements of your hands; fun and simple!
The PlayStation 4 was truly a massive hit along in the mass media due to its massive fanbase and the number of exclusive games it had. It was truly a gaming console that most of the general media wanted to get.
The PlayStation 5
Seven years later came the PlayStation 5, which again had changed the whole gaming industry with its cool new features, for example, being able to play 60fps on 4k on a console, which was crazy and with it also came new headphones and the new and only exclusive to the PlayStation 5, the controller has haptic feedback which lets players feel more immersive and tangible gameplay, for example, some little changes in the game would be felt through the controller which provides how sensitive the haptic feedback is in the controller. Besides that, the PlayStation 5 had brought backward compatibility, which allows people to play older games from the PlayStation 4 or yet even older models of the PlayStation, which was shockingly crazy and a big thing, which had really hyped up most of the gaming industry.
The PlayStation 5 this time came in two versions. One was the hardware version, which allows u to play games using CDs, and the digital version, which was a bit smaller than the hardware version and lets you buy games from the digital store.
The hardware version of the PlayStation 5 comes at the hefty price of 500 USD, whereas the digital version comes at the price of 400 USD, Yet with the hefty price tags on the PlayStations, both models went out of the sale in a minute as soon as they released which was really surprising, and the fact that it only took a minute for all the PlayStations worldwide to go out of stock was crazy, The massive hype that the PlayStation 5 had brought truly changed most players aspects on gaming.
